Board or list layout
Every view can use either layout:
- Board groups issues into status columns and is useful for seeing flow on desktop devices.
- List presents compact rows and is useful for scanning more work at once.
Use the layout control in the board header to switch. Limin remembers your preferred view preferences.
Mobile devices always use list layout, which is more suitable for narrow screens.
Move issues through the workflow
In any layout, drag an issue to another status column to update its status. Alternatively, you can use the issue context menu. On mobile devices, press and hold a row to open its context menu.
Issues are ordered within a column to keep higher-priority work visible. A team’s status order comes from team settings, where statuses can be rearranged within their status group.
Right-click a card or row to update status, priority, assignee or labels, add a relationship, copy information, archive or delete the issue.
Open an issue
Select a card or row to open the issue detail screen. Use Control/Command + click to open an issue in a new browser tab.
Search across the workspace
Use the search field near the top of the workspace sidebar. Search matches issue titles and public IDs across the workspace.
Search is different from a board filter:
- Search helps you jump directly to a known issue anywhere in the workspace.
- Filters narrow the issues displayed by the current team view.
For a reusable subset of work, create a filtered saved view.
Work in real time
Boards subscribe to issue and team changes. New issues, field updates and movements made by teammates appear without a manual refresh.
