Workspace and account

Sign-in, account access and deletion

Sign in by email, handle expired invitations and understand account or workspace deletion.

Last updated July 28, 2026

Sign in by email

Limin uses passwordless email codes.

  1. Open Log in.
  2. Enter the email address connected to your account.
  3. Request a login code.
  4. Enter the six-digit code sent to that address.

Codes are time-limited. If a code is rejected, check that you entered the most recent message and request another code if needed.

Join from an invitation

Use the email address that received the workspace invitation when joining. You’re not required to follow the link in the invitation.

After verification, Limin connects the new account to the invited workspace.

If the invitation has expired, ask the workspace owner to send a new one. You can continue the process from the expired-invitation screen after it arrives.

Deactivated access

A deactivated member can still reach the sign-in flow, but cannot access workspace content. Ask the workspace owner to reactivate the account when a member slot or paid seat is available.

Deactivation is reversible. Permanent member removal is not.

Delete your account

Workspace members can open Settings → Your account → Delete account. Limin shows the number of assigned issues that will be affected.

Deletion permanently removes the account from the workspace. Assigned issues are unassigned. This action cannot be undone.

Workspace owners cannot delete only their account because every workspace must retain its owner.

Refer to our privacy policy for information about how we handle account data after deletion.

Delete a workspace

The owner can schedule workspace deletion from the Workspace settings. Scheduling deletion:

  • Locks the workspace immediately.
  • Cancels subscription renewal.
  • Starts a seven-day grace period.
  • Permanently removes issues, teams, labels and other workspace content after the grace period.

During the grace period, normal workspace reads and writes are disabled. To cancel the deletion, the current owner must contact support so ownership can be verified.

Members who see a locked workspace should contact its owner. Once permanent deletion begins, the product data cannot be restored.
