Workspace and account

Plans, seats and subscriptions

Understand the Free plan, the Team plan, seat counts, invoices, renewal and cancellation.

Last updated October 12, 2026

Free plan

A new workspace starts on the Free plan, with no time limit:

  • Up to five active members.
  • Unlimited issues.
  • Up to 5 GB of attachment storage across the workspace.
  • No payment card required.
  • The same issue-tracking features used by paid workspaces.

The attachment storage allowance covers files in issue descriptions, resolution notes, comments and replies.

When the workspace reaches the member limit, inviting or reactivating members requires capacity or an upgrade. When it reaches the attachment storage limit, existing attachments remain available but new uploads are blocked.

Team plan

The Team plan provides unlimited members, issues and attachment storage. Individual upload limits still apply.

Only the workspace owner can start checkout or manage the subscription.

Managing seats

The subscription seat count cannot be lower than the number of active members plus pending invitations.

For example, a workspace with six active members and two pending invitations requires at least eight seats. To lower the minimum, deactivate or remove members or cancel pending invitations first.

Adding seats creates a prorated charge. Seat updates affect the next payment shown in billing settings.

Manage payment details and invoices

The workspace owner can choose Manage billing to update payment details, view invoices, and manage the subscription.

Members can see the billing page but cannot perform owner-only billing operations.

Cancel or reactivate renewal

Cancelling renewal does not remove Team access immediately. The workspace keeps paid access until the end of the current billing period.

Before that date, the owner can reactivate the subscription from billing settings. The page shows the current plan, subscription status and next payment or cancellation date.

If workspace deletion is scheduled, subscription renewal is cancelled as part of that process.

For member-limit behaviour, see Members, roles and invitations.

For individual upload limits, see Attachments.
